In line with recommendations set out in the Auctioneering/Estate
Agency Review Group Report and recent changes to IAVI
Membership Rules, prices quoted for our properties
for sale by Private Treaty and Auction will reflect
the AMV (Advised Minimum Value) given to our clients,
which is our true opinion of value.
In relation to Auction properties the AMV is not the
reserve. The reserve price will be finalised prior
to the auction, usually on the day of the auction.
In relation to Private Treaty sales the term Asking
Price will be used as a quoting price which will be
no lower than the AMV given to the vendor.
At Kehoe Auctioneers we hope that these steps will make
the selling process and the eventual selling price achieved
more transparent. However, prices are decided by the
market and selling prices can exceed expectations.
